Dr. Shyam Krishnan

Dentist, Owner

Dr. Krishnan is a practicing dentist at Insight Dentistry in Ventura on Tuesdays and Thursdays and practices in Ojai on Mondays and Fridays. He was the founder of Insight Dentistry in Ventura that was built from scratch into a successful state of the art office in 7 years. He brings to Ojai a wealth of experience in esthetic and cosmetic dentistry and full mouth reconstruction cases with a fully digital dentistry workflow. This includes 3D Printing, CBCT technology, fully guided implant options, in house same day zirconia crown milling delivered within the hour of tooth preparation, laser debridement, Invisalign treatment of misaligned teeth, smile design and veneers among other services.

You will be welcomed to the practice by Amy's warm smile when you're in the dental chair. She is kind, cheerful and compassionate assistant who will make sure your visit is a pleasant experience. She has been working in the dental field for over 16+ years, and began her journey at our practice in 2022.

Kate Siron

Hygienist

Kate is our hygienist, she works at our Ojai location as well as our Downtown Ventura location. She has a soft touch and is very knowledgeable to make sure you are maintaining a healthy mouth. She will greet you with a bright smile and ensure you have a comforting experience. Kate has been in the dental field for well over 8 years; starting off as a dental assistant and then returning back to school to become a licensed hygienist.

She is a high honors graduate from the Oxnard College Dental Hygiene program to which she earned the Colgate STAR award which recognizes a student who shows excellence and commitment to the dental hygiene profession, exhibiting extraordinary compassion in patient care, and displaying enthusiasm and demonstrating outstanding patient education and motivation skills. Kate is also a member of the Ventura County Dental Hygiene Association where she stays up to date with new information and technologies that develop and communicate with the community of hygienist to continue educating and sharing ideas with one another.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband, son, & twin daughters. Hobby’s include making new recipes at home to traveling through California and watching her husband go to the racetrack!
